Woman Knocked Over By Runaway Car

A 35-year-old woman was knocked down when a car's handbrake failed and the vehicle rolled back into her.

The incident happened in the car park of St George's Shopping Centre in St Ann's Road, Harrow, yesterday (Wednesday) at 4.30pm.

The victim was treated at Northwick Park Hospital, Watford Harrow, for injuries "not thought to be serious", according to London Ambulance Service.
