Handbag grabbed from lorry cab

A thief snatched a lorry driver's handbag from her cab when she stopped to ask for directions.

A 43-year-old woman stopped her lorry in Kenton Road, Harrow between 11.45 am and 12.00 on Wednesday (27) and got out of her cab to ask a member of the public directions.

A passing driver warned her he had seen a man jump into the cab then out again before getting into the passenger side of a waiting car.

The woman discovered that her sat nav, mobile phone and purse were all missing.
